Born in Hagerstown, MD and raised in York, PA, John spent 5 years ('73 - '77) on HCBC's summer staff doing a variety of jobs (canteen, cook, nightwatchman, busboy). He was also part of each Monday's Skit Night, adding his unique sense of humor to the entertainment of the guests.
John holds a B.S. in Bible with a Minor in Social Work and a Master of Science in Christian Counseling from Philadelphia College of Bible. He received a Certificate of Biblical Counseling from Christian Counseling and Education Foundation in Glenside, PA. He was ordained by Bible Baptist Church in Shiremanstown, PA.
He is currently the Executive Director of Capital Area Pregnancy Centers in Camp Hill, PA. He and his wife, Jeni, have 2 grown sons and live in Mechanicsburg, PA. John has enjoyed coaching soccer and basketball teams over the years. He is also a history buff - particularly the World War II era.
